It’s as much about having the approval as it is about working according to a good manual and having a structure with the customer. This is important to prevent mistakes from happening and take care of mistakes that have already happened.

Differences from earlier ISO9000
ISO9000:2000 is primarily different in the follow-up with the customer. Have we done everything right according to the customer’s terms and how does the customer perceive it? That is the question that has to be answered in measurements of quality, both internally and externally. No customers should have to question that what we do is correct and adjusted to the market and its conditions.
